Beyond the Walls – Written on Our Hearts
Let us explore a difficult passage of the Old Testament that addresses the problem of evil, but also the promise of a New Covenant: Jeremiah 31:27-34. Our preacher is David Howlett, from the World Church History and Sacred Story Team. Our theme "Written on Our Hearts'' affirms that Christ’s mission of community building is part of our DNA as a church and as a people. On this occasion we will observe "Children's Sabbath," recognizing the suffering of children and the need for peace and justice initiatives that improve the conditions and opportunities of children around the world.
