Climate Webinar "Through Crises Toward Transformation: Biodiversity Loss —The Fraying Tapestry of Life” Sunday, March 7, 2021, 5-6:30 pm ET Follow-up Conversations: Sunday, March 14, 2021, 5-6:30 pm ET and Thursday, March 18, 2021, 9-10:30 pm ET We have all heard reports lamenting the extinction of an animal species or the threat to a specific ecological biome, usually in a place far distant from our home. Should we be concerned? After all, species have systematically been going extinct throughout geologic history, and new species are constantly being discovered. Dr. Phoebe Barnard has both professional background and personal experience to bring to the question of biodiversity loss and why it matters for us, for our grandchildren, and for our future. Come and join the Climate Webinar on biodiversity with Dr. Phoebe Barnard of the University of Washington. Invite your friends to join as well. All sessions are free. Participation in previous webinars and conversations is not necessary to join in this opportunity. If you registered for a past webinar or conversation, you do not need to register again. Once registered, you will be sent a Zoom link a few days before each webinar, panel and conversation.
