Many lack access to food, water, and shelter, the universal needs of existence. Many have gifts that go unrecognized and unshared. As a result, all communities—the human and the more-than-human—experience woundedness and loss. Come for a weekend of nurturing, awareness and hope. Join in community as we learn about and experience profound acts of reconciliation and restoration happening both locally and throughout the world. ![]() Emily Bradley Roos (formerly Bradley-Low) passed away suddenly on Monday May 1st from a burst aneurysm at the age of 39. Born in Mississauga ON in 1983, Emily was a rambunctious and impish child with a curiosity about the world that never left her. There are a lot of things about being on this Earth that Emily loved. She loved being in nature, running barefoot through the sand at the beach, walking in the woods, and getting dirt on her hands in her garden. She loved music, singing at the top of her lungs, dancing her feet off, and frequently busting out her guitar. She loved food (both eating it and cooking it) and one of her greatest joys was serving her friends or family a good meal. But most of all, Emily loved people. She was an open book who would happily share the intimate details of her life with anyone she crossed paths with. She enjoyed getting to know people deeply, and she strived to form meaningful connections. She loved to talk and spoke three languages, allowing her to converse with even more people. She had so many friends and loved having fun and hosting a good party. Emily was so proud of her three children and delighted in their happiness and accomplishments. She was also a loving wife to her partner of 10 years. There are countless people who will miss Emily deeply. She is survived by her husband Felix Roos, her son Johnathan Bradley-Low Collins (16), her daughters Samantha Bradley Roos (5) and Stephanie Bradley Roos (2), her mom Anna Jean Bradley, her brother Grant Bradley-Low and sister-in-law Julie Bradley-Low, her sister Glyneva Bradley-Ridout and brother-in-law SeanMorris, her brothers Kazuo Koekebakker-Low and Akio Koekebakker-Low, her stepfather Dennis Ridout, her nephews Arthur Bradley-Low and Raphael Bradley-Low, her aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many friends. She is predeceased by her Dad Mark Low and her grandparents. Emily was an organ donor and her final gift was the gift of life to other families. You can honour Emily’s memory by registering at giftoflife@on.ca. Donations in her name to World Accord or Ziontario Campground are also welcomed. Emily’s family would like to thank the team at the Owen Sound Regional Heath Center Intensive Care Unit and Shannon from Trillium Gift of Life for their compassion and respectful care. A celebration of Emily’s life and love will be held in Owen Sound on Saturday May 13th at 2pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Center in the Bay room. World Conference provides opportunities:
