Caretaker Opening at Samish Island Campground

The Samish Island Campground Association Board of Directors is seeking a Camp Manager/Caretaker to oversee facility and business operations of this campground.  The property is located on the Salish Sea in the Northwest Washington State, USA.  Surrounded by water and set in a beautiful agricultural valley, this area boasts excellent educational opportunities (K-12, Community College, and University), outdoor activities, culture, and cuisine.  The position will be available in November, 2019.
 
Compensation consists of a salary, home (unfurnished), utilities (including Internet and cable), meals, (when camps are in session), wonderful people and amazing scenery. 
Managerial competencies should include: computing, scheduling, accounting and communication skills.
Caretaking competencies should include;  operating light machinery, light carpentry, electrical and plumbing work.  It is preferred that applicants be willing to serve for 3 to 5 years.  A deadline for receipt of applications is October 19, 2019.
