 Take part in the first Canada Mission Centre Conference on Saturday, Nov 7. Our theme, Risk Something New, echoes the opening question of our Mission Prayer, “God, where will your Spirit lead today?” and reflects the continuing call to discern how God is inviting the church to move onward with courage, generosity, and openness. This will be an opportunity to gather with old and new friends from across Canada to worship, celebrate mission, and make important decisions as we continue to move onward together. Send your congregational reports by October 2. These reports help us remember what has been happening across Community of Christ in Canada over the past year: what is new, what has changed, which ministries have taken shape, which stories have inspired your congregation, and who is no longer with us but should not be forgotten. Be sure to include your best photos! Your report helps us write the history of Community of Christ in Canada and Celebrate Mission together. Planning to gather in person with your congregation? Although conference will bring us together across great distances, we encourage congregations to gather locally when possible. Please let us know in advance to help ensure all technical aspects run smoothly. The remote site application deadline is October 2. The registration deadline is October 30.
