As a long-time elder in Community of Christ, his scholastic studies and teaching rest on a lasting appreciation of sacred space, an understanding of the sacredness of creation, and a deep respect for the Enduring Principles of the church.  He brings to the conversations a firm conviction that people of faith must go beyond stewardship to mutuality.
