Beware of Spoofing

​Beware of False Emails and of Your Own Email Security
Steve Thompson has had people contact him about receiving suspicious emails that say they are from him but clearly are not.
If you receive an email that seems to make an odd request – such as to email him or call him immediately, or to log on to some website using your personal information or your email information – please do not respond to it. Forward it to Steve so he is aware of it.
The emails have all had email addresses that are clearly not Steve’s email address. Please check that first. It will be a certain clue.
