You Can Boost Giving Tuesday Momentum!

Join us for Giving Tuesday on December 3rd! This annual event benefits Worldwide Mission Tithes, and we hope church members and leaders will pass along these important messages.
 
Every Giving Tuesday dollar helps! Any size donation is important for Christ’s mission. In Canada, give to Worldwide Mission Tithes through Canada Helps, by mailing a cheque, or sending an e-transfer (to [email protected]). Make the password: givingtuesday
Please call or email Heather (888-411-7537 x23) at the Canadian Headquarters to let us know these gifts are coming so that we can know to expect them for Giving Tuesday and count them towards our goal.
Meet your match! A generous matching contribution of $150,000 has been pledged for this event. If you contribute $25, it will be matched and becomes $50. There's never been a better time to give!

If you’ve ever wondered: Some of the things Giving Tuesday contributions are used for:

• Development of Worship Resources, lesson plans, books, and other materials
• Translation of basic Community of Christ beliefs tools and resources
• Spiritual formation retreats
• Daily Bread blog
• Travel by church leaders around the world as they explore new expressions of ministry and spread the gospel

Help us spread the word! Tell everyone about Giving Tuesday, especially other congregation members. Consider printing and pinning to your congregation’s bulletin board! Hundreds of charities will ask for help on December 3rd, so it’s important to tell other church members and friends how Community of Christ will benefit. Word of mouth is still incredibly effective.
