 Celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent with music ministry from Handel’s Messiah. As we light the candle of Joy, our theme is “Glory to God in the Highest.” Our soprano soloist is Alexandra Cozart singing from Toronto Centre Place. Alexandra is joined by Alto Sandra Byrne, Tenor Leandro Palacios, Bass Neil DeAtley, and harpsichord and organ by Michael Karpowicz. Alexandra will also teach our Living Church Lesson and our sermon will be preached by Trudi Mahi Gunderson of Pahoa, Hawaii. Vickie Thatcher of Riverside, Missouri, will offer our Invocation. From Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Jodi Donald will read our Call to Worship and Jon Donald will read our Lectionary scripture. This Advent season Beyond the Walls presents Handel's Messiah! Our soloist will sing from Kirtland Temple, the Independence Auditorium, and Toronto Centre Place. Celebrate advent with our community and save the date for a special Christmas Eve service when our choir will sing the Hallelujah chorus.
