Our Deepest Condolences - June McLean

June Violet (Kurtz) McLean
June 12, 1935 ~ February 3, 2022 (age 86)
 
This tiny, spunky woman never gave up, no matter what life threw at her. A fabulous cook, baker, cake decorator, event planner and organizer left this Earth peacefully, after a medical event.

She leaves behind her husband Rod, daughter Kimberley McLean (Charles Kaiser), son-in-law Darren Hager (Karen, predeceased), daughter-in-law Karie McLean (Mark, predeceased) and grandchildren Korbyn McLean (Amanda Buchnea), Stacia Tizzard (Lucas), Rileigh McLean, Carsten McLean.

June’s many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends will also miss her huge presence.

She was so looking forward to her first great-grandchild from Stacia and Lucas, and the wedding between Abe Martin and Rileigh, highly anticipated events this year. Family gatherings were what she loved.

Her devotion to helping others manifested through decades of volunteering for Terry Fox runs and helping with Camp Quality, not to mention thousands of church related activities with Community of Christ and the Salvation Army.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Northridge Community Church in Aurora Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
