Generous Donations for Bill McMurray Residence Makes Big Impact
By Bryce Taylor, Executive Director
At the Bill McMurray Residence, we are very busy being careful and staying positive and, in a few cases, actually testing positive; no virus yet in our place. Most of our residents are self-isolating and doing their best to stay in their small units and I am very proud of them.
However, due to the nature of some of the mental health challenges, there are some who just don’t comprehend the seriousness of the situation, especially why the nearby mall is totally closed. However, they keep going everyday, just to check it out!

The Blessing of Sharing Sacraments
By Evangelist Darwin Wismer
As we approached the April Communion service I was reminded that the World Conference of 2019 discussed how we could do the sacraments virtually. Last Fall the Presidency shared with the Church how we could do this. A few short months later here we are as a world church having virtual Communion sitting in our living room. I am quite helpless on the computer so contrary to my intentions, we had Communion with a congregation in Clinton, Missouri, after which we were able to connect with Toronto Congregation, our first choice.
How prophetic is this? I never imagined that I would be receiving this virtual ministry, especially so soon. I am so happy to be part of a prophetic church and thank you to all who are coordinating these world wide services. What a Blessing!
The Gift of Music Lifts Souls

My role as Early Years Educator has been anything but in the last month and a half. Our department of staff who specialize in child development and all things infant, child and families have been redeployed to one of our local nursing homes. Talk about a complete 180 in job description working with our youngest citizens to our oldest.
My role in this new normal is that of screener. Every day, hour, moment has brought change after change to this new job as we learn new measures to put in place. We screen the staff as they enter the building at the beginning of their shift and again as they leave their shift to ensure they are well.
