ROBINSON, Calvon Barrington peacefully with family by his side at Chapman House Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce on Monday, October 17, 2022. Calvon Robinson of Georgian Bluffs in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Betty and cherished father of Linda Porter and her husband Larry of Wiarton, Eric Robinson and his wife Dale of Georgian Bluffs, Debra Urbshott and her husband Brian of B.C., Melody Robinson and her husband Mark Heathfield of St. Mary’s and Kimberly Rodgers and her husband Michael of Texas. Much loved grandfather of Ryan, Trevor (Samantha), Michael (Amy), Suzanne (Mike), Lynn, Cara, Kyle (Meg), Timothy (Carrie), Bethany (Chris), Alyssa (Ola) and Josie (Jacob) and great grandfather of 16. Predeceased by his parents Edith (nee Willis) and Samuel Robinson, brothers Leighton, Vernon and Merlin and sisters Marjorie Shepherd, Jean Bradley, Shirley Botting and Erma Brady. In keeping with Calvon’s lifelong philosophy of helping others, he has donated his body to science. Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Wednesday, April 18th, 1923 – Saturday, October 29th, 2022 It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Price announce his passing on October 29, 2022 in his 100th year of a wonderful life. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Judy (Lee), Ken (Sue), Scott (Tammy) and Debbie (Brody). Harry will also be dearly remembered by his grandchildren Darren, Christine, Amanda, Austin, Candace and Alexa and great-grandchildren Turner, Keira and Ryder. Harry was such a special man to so many people for all his genuine acts of kindness and his role as Santa Claus for many years. In addition to his dedication to our family, community and his church as an ordained minister for many years, Harry sacrificed 5 years of his youth serving his country in WWII. Lest we forget. Harry is now reunited with his beautiful wife Gladys (2014) after 67 years of marriage together and 8 years apart after her passing. We will love and remember him forever. Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home on Friday, November 4th, 2022 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Harry in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com.  Scarborough will be holding an online Remembrance Day service on Thursday November 10th at 7 p.m. In-person commemoration of this day will be difficult, so we would like to invite anyone and everyone to attend. It is always a very special, moving service.
