The Director Team Noronto Reunion 2022 norontoreunion@gmail.com Guide to Using PDF Registration Form The PDF Registration Form has been created with a number of advanced features which may or may not be supported by the programs on your computer capable of opening PDF files. All features are supported by Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader which are recommended for use with the registration form. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC available as a free download from https://get.adobe.com/reader/ You may have heard that some congregations are involved in a discerning and visioning exercise to explore building a consensus on congregational vision and mission. Discerning is a learned spiritual practice, and we are blessed with Ministers of Blessing and Spiritual Companioning leaders. We asked groups of priesthood if there were persons willing to volunteer to help congregations in discerning their vision, in planning their outreach and mission and in the stewardship of their finances and buildings.
So, we are pleased that we can offer a team of ministerial resources who will strive to help your congregation in discerning what is the right path, looking forward to the next five years. Given that President Steve Veazy recently said that we are in between what was and what will be, we believe that the timing for congregations to embark on this process is now. Teams consisting primarily of Evangelists, Seventies and Bishops are offering their prayerful support and where possible their time and talents, as a resource to assist congregations in a discernment and visioning process to determine, considering their membership, their situation, and their community, what is the right path forward. In addition, they are prepared to assist congregations in developing an outreach plan for mission in their community. That could include identifying resources needed to fulfill their plan, discussions regarding budgets to enable outreach and mission and dialogue regarding facility and accessibility needs. If you feel your congregation or a designated committee within your congregation would like to explore building consensus on congregational vision and mission and benefit from the leadership of these ministerial resources offered to assist your congregation in discerning God’s will and being at the forefront of organizations which are pursuing Christs mission of peace and justice, please contact us for more information.
