Participate in a meaningful weekend that blends connection, inspiration, and spiritual growth.

Friday night, John Hamer led us in sharing faith stories, exploring our mission, and enjoying social time—deepening our bonds and renewing our shared purpose.

Saturday, our Business Meeting offered a chance to shape the future of our community through collaborative decision-making.

Sunday promises to bring powerful moments of celebration and committment with both a special ordination and setting apart ceremony, as well as a Worship Service with special guest Becky Middleton.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something truly impactful! We encourage everyone to attend in person, but online options will be available for the business meeting and worship.

One important agenda item is the selection of delegates for the 2025 World Conference. If you are available and interested in attending as a delegate, please inform Melissa.

Becky is a member of the Canada West Mission Presidency Team. She is pastor of the senlac congregation and lives on a farm in Saskatchewan with her husband Doug. Both Doug and Becky are regular volunteers in Honduras with World Accord.

ARCHIVE - OCT 2023 CEM CONFERENCE

Woodfield Congregation | London, ON

This year, our CEM Conference was held in-person at Woodfield Congregation (615 Colborne St, London, ON) online over ZOOM (for delegates) and live streamed on YouTube (for observers).

Our theme this year was “Courage to Live God's Will” and took place as a hybrid event. Delegates and ex-officio were able to participate in-person or by ZOOM on-line, and observers could watch the live YouTube stream.

The agenda included the presentation of the 2024 budget, audit report, sustaining of CEM officers, bylaw motions, and updates on the Canadian church activities and vision.

The weekend will also include two special services on Sunday, October 22nd, beginning with an ordination service at 10:00 AM and an "on location" broadcast of Beyond the Walls at 12:00 PM.

ENCOUNTER WORLD RELIGIONS

Encounter has been undergoing a transformation including hiring new staff, designing new programs and reaching new audiences. In this session, Brian Carwana will share about where Encounter's been and where it's going. We hope you can join us for this information session!

New Expressions is the science fiction, the inspiration, the discernment, the what if trials of spiritual formation, the entering into the evidentiary and experiential realm of the Spirit.
