​Our 2019 CEM Conference Retreat fulfilled its promise to be an exceptional gathering for individuals and families across our Mission Centre.  Everyone of all ages attended.  The location rented was Circle Square Ranch in Brantford (an affordable, full-service, central Ontario retreat facility with on-site staff that took care of all meals, KP, and maintenance duties), and a wide range of extra-curricular activities for families and youth were offered.    more...

Programming

Along with holistic programs for the mind, body and spirit, the retreat featured horseback and pony rides, zip lines, rope courses, climbing walls, sports fields, and a bonus trip to the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo (just a four minute drive away). So close you could hear the lions roar!     more...

Meals and Accommodations

​Meals were prepared with every dietary lifestyle, allergy, sensitivity and preference in mind.  They were both delicious and nutritious, and folks enjoyed the dining room experience.

Accommodations were shared dorms with bunk beds that included private bathrooms and showers in each room (for the first 100 people) - while other rooms had shared washrooms like at Ziontario and Erie Beach.  For those who desired complete family privacy there was a selection of affordable motels within 20 minutes.     more...

The Costs

The full weekend reduced rate was $99 per adult. Children 10 and under were FREE and the rate for students 11 and up was just $49. We offered a day rate of only $25 for adults and students commuting or staying in motels. Those low registration costs DID NOT cover our expenses alone and opportunities for disciples generous response was invited throughout the weekend (and helped meet the conference budget).
