Noronto Sr High Camp

August 16 - 23
Grades: 9 - Recent grads (up to 19yrs old)
This summer, we invite you to be part of a powerful journey at Sr. High Camp 2025 – August 16–23, as we explore our theme: Unmuted. This camp is open to youth entering Grade 9 through recent high school grads (up to age 19). Together, we’ll learn what it means to find our voice—not just to be heard, but to show the world who we truly are, and to speak up for others who haven’t yet found the strength to do so. Through community, creativity, and conversation, we’ll grow in confidence and connection, and leave ready to use our collective voice to make a positive difference in the world.

Whether you’re a first-time camper or a returning one, Sr. High Camp is a week like no other—filled with creative electives, campfires, swimming and games, House Cup challenges, and meaningful connections. Our banquet theme this year is Vikings, so bring your best Norse costume—fur cloaks, braids, shields, and cardboard axes encouraged! We can't wait to welcome you to Sr. High Camp 2025. Come ready to get loud, be real, and stay unmuted—and don’t forget your Viking gear!

Noronto Reunion

August 10-17, 2024
Theme: Heal the Earth: A Restoration Imperative

Every year we have people tell us that it is just so important that they "be on the grounds of Camp Noronto". They just "need to be there".
Noronto is full of rustic beauty, from the lakefront, to the woods, to the Chapel created from towering pine trees -- it is awe inspiring.

While our theme this year is "Heal the Earth", perhaps we also need to pay attention to how "The Earth is Healing Us" and how "We Heal Each Other" by being in this special place together.

Noronto Reunion was first held September 2nd - 4th, 1961, and remains a significant experience for church members to this day, with week-long camps being held almost every year, in the month of August.  Situated on the scenic shores of Lake Nipissing, Noronto Reunion is always an opportunity to experience the broader church community, to rekindle friendships, to recharge, and become closer to God.  Noronto Reunion often feels like a chance to get a glimpse of Zion, and experience firsthand the potential of the Peaceable Kingdom.
All are welcome to attend Noronto Reunion and share with us in inspiring classes, spiritual worship services, great fellowship, fun electives, awesome food, thought provoking conversations, intriguing information sessions, joyful campfires, and of course the chance to just rejuvenate.

Community of Christ, Erie Beach has been a reunion that for almost 115 years has brought people young and old together to commune with each other and with a God that loves them. Its rich history has been a heritage that continues to be a gift to all those that attend. Every year young and old are ready to come and feel that sense of community that has been nurtured for over a century. We are a community that does not take for granted our abundant blessings. The meticulously maintained property that is located 20 minutes from Chatham Ontario on Lake Erie is the background for this great camp. Our beautiful beaches bring joy and gatherings that people remember throughout the years .We welcome all those that seek a place of belonging.

Loaves and Fishes Reunion is an experience of peace and excitement. As you step onto the grounds of Ziontario, a sense of calm, joy and fulfillment washes over you. Reunion is a time to reconnect with old friends and to meet new ones. It is a time of inspiration, laughter, fun and connectedness with others and with the beauty that is all around. It is a week filled with singing, swimming, slip n sliding, worship, crafting, and recreation. There is something for everyone, young and old at Reunion; morning programs for toddlers, children, youth and adults. Prepared lunches that are delicious. Swimming, baseball, afternoon “under the tree chats”, evening worship, supported recreation for the kids, campfire, canteen, and late-night youth group. Ziontario and the Loaves and Fishes Reunion is where we come together with a mutual desire to share our gifts, talents, perspectives, and care for one another. For anyone who is interested, you will be welcomed with open arms, and you will leave with a full heart, renewed spirit, and a desire to forever return!

Senior High Camp

POSTPONED
Registration: Please contact Jordan Shepherdson [email protected]
Our team has been working extremely hard in preparation for your Sr. High Camp Community program to run this August. We were excited and hopeful about the chance to get together at Noronto and to embrace one another again. After two long years of being apart, we know that the community was hopeful as well.

As you may know, the Ontario Health’s Chief Medical Officer has officially announced that we have entered a 7th wave of COVID-19 with the highly contagious Omicron BA.5 sub-variant. The information shared indicates that this new wave is experiencing exponential growth and will peak over the next 4 weeks.

We feel that it would be very difficult to mitigate the risk of a probable outbreak at camp. It is with deep regret, but with concern for the safety and well being of our community, and with the support of the CEM camping commission, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our 2022 Noronto Sr. High Camp.

We are saddened by this reality but we know that our connection and love in this community is strong. Please take care of yourself and one another. We look forward to next year when past and new campers can continue in the Community Building experience!
