Now Hiring: Director of Leadership Development

Community of Christ is looking for a Director of Leadership Development to join their leadership team.  This role reports to the Apostle of Canada and is a full-time, permanent role.

Job Overview:
The Director of Leadership Development will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Community of Christ’s leadership development strategy across Canada. This role is designed to nurture and equip current and future leaders to support Community of Christ’s mission.

 Responsibilities and Duties:

• ​Design, implement, and deliver a comprehensive leadership development program in multiple forums that align with Community of Christ’s mission and vision
• Collaborate with mission centre leaders, pastors and others to identify new leaders and leadership needs for current leaders in Community of Christ in Canada
• Develop and manage the budget for leadership development programs
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with staff and management
• Monitor and evaluate training programs to determine application of learning, effectiveness and success, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain knowledge of trends in leadership development
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Apostle for Canada

 
Skills and Qualifications:

• A priesthood designation is preferred
• Proven experience in developing and facilitating leadership training programs

• Experience in the non-profit sector considered an asset
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and inspire people at all levels
• Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
• Expert skill in communication, speaking and/or presenting to groups in a professional setting
