Have you ever wondered what your money is doing when you’re not using it? Join us on Sunday, November 16, 2025, for a practical and inspiring online conversation about aligning your finances with your faith. This online ministry is organized by the North American Climate Justice Team, which includes members of Community of Christ in Canada.

Cathy Becker, Responsible Finance Campaign Director for Green America Finance, will guide participants through ways to move their investments, banking, and insurance away from fossil fuel expansion and toward renewable, sustainable options. She’ll share how everyday financial choices—like where we bank or which credit card we use—can support a healthier planet and a faithful response to the climate crisis.

This webinar is for everyone: those ready to make a change and those simply curious about what “green investing” looks like. Although Cathy’s examples are primarily U.S.-based, the same principles apply in Canada and beyond. International participants will also receive resources for similar organizations in their own countries.

Date: Sunday, 16 November 2025
Time: 2 pm PT / 3 pm MT / 4 pm CT / 5 pm ET

When: Sunday, September 14
Time: 2:00 PT, 3:00 p.m. MT, 4:00 p.m. CT, 5:00 p.m. ET, 11:00 a.m. HT, 10:00 p.m. London, 7:00 a.m. Sydney (+1 day)

The 2025 World Conference of Community of Christ was a historic week of hope, inspiration, and important legislation. Three climate resolutions were considered, discussed, and passed with overwhelming support. But now what?

Passing legislation proclaims the values and intentions of our movement. But unless we live them out, they are just words. The September Climate Webinar will be an opportunity to explore actions that implement the three resolutions and help move church members forward in decreasing fossil fuels and addressing climate change.

Are you eager to take action? Are you wondering what your next step could be toward a sustainable lifestyle? Join us to dialogue with others about transforming the World Conference resolutions into real, active, and powerful commitments to make a difference—both individually and systemically.

We know some members are feeling uncertain about travelling to the U.S. right now. You’re not alone—and you have options. The impact of climate change on clean air, pollution, and health

When: Sunday, March 30
Time Zones: 2:00 PM PT, 3:00 PM MT, 4:00 PM CT, 5:00 PM ET, 11:00 AM HT, 10:00 PM London, 8:00 AM Sydney (next day)

The burning of fossil fuels creates numerous health problems, including heat stroke, asthma, allergies, lung diseases, and cardiac issues. These health issues impact vulnerable populations the most, making it an eco-justice issue. Climate solutions must be implemented with vulnerable populations in mind if we are to transition away from fossil fuels in a just and equitable way.

Our presenter, Natalia Reyes-Becerra, is the Nationwide Advocacy Manager of Clean Air with the American Lung Association. She will share the impact of climate change on clean air, pollution, and health. We will also continue sharing “Just Transition” stories. Take a deep breath and join us for “A Just Transition Leaves No One Behind: Health” on March 30.

“The restoring of persons to healthy or right relationships with God, others, themselves, and the earth is at the heart of the purpose of your journey as a people of faith.”
